This doll was created in the 1990’s. This was a time when black artisans were hired to create dolls that would be an accurate representation of African- Americans or other minority groups. One such artist was Yolanda Bello. She worked for the Ashton- Drake house and created several collections of African -American Dolls. This doll belongs to the Precious Playmates Collection. The doll is a baby boy with a medium brown complexion, dimple cheeks, and a soft medium shaped nose.
